What is it and what is it for?

Dulcosoft Powder For Oral Solution is a medical product indicated for the symptomatic treatment of constipation and softening of hard stools.

It is a product indicated for:

• Pregnant women.
• Breastfeeding women.
• Children (8 years old onwards).
• Diabetic people.
• Celiac people.

Its main component is Macrogol 4000, an osmotic agent with a high water-binding capacity that is used for the symptomatic treatment of constipation in adults and children.

It is a gentle and gradual stool softener. It usually takes between 24 and 72 hours to act. When used as directed, stool softeners are a safe and gentle way to maintain movement

How to use?

Adults and children over 8 years of age: 1 or 2 sachets (equivalent to 10-20 g of macrogol 4000), preferably taken in a single dose in the morning.

Within the recommended dose, this can be adjusted to your particular needs and can range from 1 sachet every 2 days to 2 sachets per day. The appropriate dose is the lowest dose that produces soft and regular stools.

Composition

The active substance of Dulcosoft powder for oral solution is macrogol 4000.

One sachet contains 10 g of macrogol powder for oral solution (without excipients).

Warnings and Contraindications

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use Dulcosoft Powder For Oral Solution after the expiry date which appears on the package. The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated.
