What is it and what is it for?

Dulcosoft oral solution is a product designed for gradual relief. It delays intestinal absorption of water, thereby increasing the amount of water in the colon. There, hard stools that do not come out soften and increase in volume. This causes an increase in intestinal motility and facilitates the passage of bowel movements, which promotes a feeling of natural relief.

Its active ingredient, macrogol 4000, is an osmotic laxative, it has a purely mechanical mechanism of action: it is practically not absorbed by the body and is excreted unchanged. It is a gentle and gradual stool softener. It usually takes between 24 and 72 hours to act. When used as directed, stool softeners are a safe and gentle way to maintain movement.

Dulcosoft oral solution is a flavorless and odorless liquid laxative, so it can be mixed into any drink (hot or cold) without altering the taste.

How to use?

Children 6 months or older:

In children under 8 years of age, consult a doctor before administering the product.

• From 6 months to 1 year of age: 8ml/day; equivalent to 4g of macrogol 4000
• From 2 to 3 years of age: 8ml-16ml/day; equivalent to 4-8g of macrogol 4000
• From 4 to 7 years of age: 16ml-32ml/day; equivalent to 8-16g of macrogol 4000
• From 8 years of age: 20ml-40 ml/day; equivalent to 10-20g of macrogol 4000

Adults from 18 years of age:

• 20ml-40 ml/day – equivalent to 10-20g of macrogol 4000

Pregnant women should consult a doctor.

Suitable for diabetics, celiacs, and patients on low sodium diets.

Composition

10 ml of Dulcosoft liquid contains 5 g of macrogol 4000.

Other ingredients: Potassium sorbate (preservative), macrogol 400, citric acid and purified water.

Warnings and Contraindications

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use Dulcosoft after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated.

Use within 6 weeks of opening the bottle.

Do not store Dulcosoft at a temperature above 25°C and do not store it in the refrigerator.
