What is it and what is it for?
SensiLacer Mouthwash is a daily mouthwash whose rapid and prolonged desensitizing action reduces dental sensitivity to cold, heat, sweets or other stimuli.
Dentin hyperesthesia or “sensitive teeth” is manifested by painful sensations (sharp and short-lived pain) caused by contact of the tooth with some stimuli (cold, heat, sweets, etc.). It can occur in apparently normal teeth, but there is a predisposition when the dentin is exposed due to alteration of the enamel or due to retraction of the gum edge (periodontal disease). In both cases, the stimulation of the nerve endings is facilitated and thus the perception of pain.
SensiLacer Mouthwash contains Potassium Nitrate, which has proven to be one of the most effective active ingredients in reducing tooth sensitivity.
The high Fluorine content, thanks to its remineralizing action, enhances the desensitizing effect, contributes to the prevention of dental sensitivity and protects against cavities. The formula is completed with the inclusion of Xylitol, a non-cariogenic sweetener that promotes the remineralization of tooth enamel and with a flavored excipient with a pleasant mint flavor.
The use of this mouthwash is the appropriate complement to the daily hygiene of users with dental sensitivity after brushing their teeth with SensiLacer Toothpaste or SensiLacer Toothpaste Gel. Since no subsequent rinsing is required, the active ingredients remain in contact with the tooth surface for longer, which favors their action and effectiveness.
How to use?
After brushing, rinse your mouth 2-3 times a day with 10 ml of undiluted SensiLacer Mouthwash, allowing the liquid to circulate throughout the mouth for 30-60 seconds. The recommended volume provides the appropriate amount of active components in the mouth to develop an effective desensitizing action, without irritating the gums or modifying the color of the teeth.
It is advisable not to rinse with water or eat drinks or food until about 15 minutes after applying the mouthwash.
