What is it and what is it for?

Otoclean ear cleaner for dogs and cats removes dirt from the external pavilions of your pet’s ears. You can use it both in daily ear hygiene and for the prevention of otitis or as an adjuvant during the treatment of this condition in dogs and cats.

Among its pharmacological properties are keratolytic, cerumenolytic, emollient, sanitizing and moisturizing ingredients, which provide the product with perfect qualities for hygiene and care of the external auditory canal, which keeps it free of accumulations of dirt, earwax or secretions. There is a reason it is the ear cleaner most used by veterinarians.

How to use?

Apply Otoclean ear cleaner to both ears.

In cats, small and medium-sized dogs, one vial can be distributed between both ears. For large dogs use one vial for each ear.

The dosage will vary depending on what is indicated:

Ear hygiene: in animals with large accumulations of earwax and dirt, with a bad odor, apply every 24 hours for 8 consecutive days, spacing the applications (every 2 or 3 days) depending on the response obtained until the ears are completely clean. .

Prevention of otitis: it is recommended to apply every 5 or 7 days routinely, especially in breeds with large, floppy ears (cocker, beagle) or with very hairy ear canals (poodle, west highland white terrier), as they are more prone to suffer them.

Adjuvant in the treatment of otitis: to improve the effectiveness of anti-infective or therapeutic products, it is recommended to clean the ear 30 minutes before treatment. This way we eliminate all the accumulated dirt and facilitate the absorption of the medications.
