What is it and what is it for?

Deratin Complex is a medication to relieve the discomfort caused by throat irritation. It contains three active ingredients that combine antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anesthetic action:

  • antiseptic action of chlorhexidine,
  • with the anti-inflammatory action of enoxolone on the oropharyngeal mucosa
  • and the local anesthetic action of benzocaine,

Deratin complex is indicated for the local and temporary symptomatic treatment of mild infectious and inflammatory processes of the mouth and throat: canker sores, throat irritation or hoarseness that present with pain and without fever, for adults and children over 6 years of age.

For more information, see the patient information leaflet.

    • 1 tablet every 4-5 hours, up to a maximum of 6 tablets per day. Administer under adult supervision.
  • adults and kids older than 12 years old
    • 1 tablet to suck every 2-3 hours, up to a maximum of 8 tablets per day.
