What is it and what is it for?
Betadine Cutaneous Solution is a broad spectrum antiseptic, antibacterial (bactericidal), antifungal (fungicide), antiviral, antiprotozoal, sporicidal.
It is used to disinfect the skin, small wounds, superficial cuts and minor burns.

How to use?
Wash your hands well.
Wash the wound with saline solution or water and neutral antiseptic soap. Dry without rubbing.
If bleeding occurs, apply pressure with a sterile gauze until it disappears.
Apply directly to the affected surface, 1-3 times/day.
After application, it is advisable to cover the area with gauze.
Composition
Each ml of Betadine Cutaneous Solution contains 100mg of povidone-iodine.
Excipients: glycerol (E 422), macrogol 9 lauryl ether, disodium phosphate, citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydroxide (E 524), potassium iodate and purified water.
Warnings and Contraindications
Keep out of the sight and reach of children
Do not eat. External use.
It does not require any special storage conditions.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated.
Avoid contact with eyes, ears and other mucous membranes.
If used in preparation before an operation, avoid accumulation under the patient. It can cause irritation and rarely serious skin reactions.
