Do not use with mercurial derivatives, silver, hydrogen peroxide or taurolidine (antiseptics).

Continued use should be avoided in patients receiving simultaneous therapy with lithium (used in psychiatry).

Mercromina Film is a mercurial antiseptic and bacteriostatic, it is active against gram positive and gram negative bacteria.

It is used to disinfect superficial wounds of the skin and mucous membranes such as cracks, abrasions, sores, burns. It can also be used for healing and curing postoperative wounds.

How to use?

Before applying Mercromina Film, all dirt and other foreign bodies must be removed from the area to be treated.

Wash the wound with water, soapy water or hydrogen peroxide;  in the absence of any of the above use the same Mercromina Film solution to wash it out. After that dry the area carefully, especially if hydrogen peroxide was used, since this would decompose the Mercromina Film.

Use a few drops over the would and the edges and leave it in for a couple minutes to ensure fixation. Then remove the excess with gauze or cotton, without touching the wound.

The recommended dosage of Mercromina Film is  2-3 times per day.
